Tame Your Hip Flexors
Hip flexor tightness is often something folks experience and it can stand in your way if you're working out. An exercise that often triggers the sensation of 'hip pinch' that is caused by tight hip flexors is teaser (as pictured above).
The way to avoid a hip flexor pinch while in the teaser position is to find a deeper core connection to support the weight of your legs. With the below guidance, try a teaser from a seated position and see if you find deep core!
When in teaser position, imagine the front line of your torso like a 3-passenger canoe. There's one passenger at the base of your sternum, one at belly button, one at pubic bone. Keeping space between your passengers, lift up & back from under your ribs, and feel the inner thighs connect up under your ribs as you lift/lower your legs.
